All properties have been finished to a good standard throughout and benefit from a spacious and well considered design. A visit to the Peak District is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience containing Areas of Natural Outstanding Beauty from the rolling valleys of the White Peak to the harsher wilder grit stone edges of the Dark Peak in the north spread over nearly 600 square miles and dotted with an array of charming market towns and quaint villages maintaining traditional customs and values. Matlock is easily reached and is a must with its charming architecture and offers a wealth of restaurants individual shops and welcoming pubs. A short drive from the properties are Carsington Watersports Chatsworth House Gullivers Kingdom wonderful walking and cycling country scenic drives and the Blue John Mines to name but a few of the fantastic attractions within the Peak District. Outside: all guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the 10 acres of communal grounds and lakes with picnic benches spread throughout the site. Amenities: ample off-road parking on site. Bed linen electric electric heating and Wi-Fi (please note the connection can be intermittent) included. Regret no smoking. Location: farm shop 1 mile pub 4 miles. Arrival: 3pm. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: all of which are zip-and-link beds which can be made into either doubles or twins upon request on the first-floor 1 double with en-suite shower room with WC and 1 twin with en-suite shower room with WC on the ground-floor 1 twin with en-suite wetroom with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with wall mounted flatscreen TV DVD and Freeview. Kitchen area benefitting from granite worktops integrated oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. Amenities: regret no pets.

Matlock is the county town of Derbyshire, England. Located on the edge of the Peak District it is not far from Cromford, Botany Bay, Bonsall, Wirksworth, Winster, and Ashover and is one of over fifty towns and villages in Derbyshire in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest cities are Derby (population 229,407), Sheffield (population 439,866), and Nottingham (which has a population of 249,584 according to the 2001 Census).
Matlock is twinned with the Eaubonne in France, and nearby is the former spa resort of Matlock Bath. As a base for exploring the Peak District Matlock represents an excellent choice of location for any kind of break or holiday in this most scenic part of England.
